INTERNSHIP’S AVAILABLE @ BLNCO

About Us

BLNCO is a creative fashion and lifestyle media platform dedicated to inspiring our community through style, culture, and self-expression. We spotlight diverse voices and authentic stories — from the latest fashion trends to wellness and mindset. Through bold visuals and elevated storytelling, we empower individuals to lead with confidence, creativity, and purpose. If you love Rihanna, streetwear, and always know what’s trending — you’ll feel right at home here.

What You’ll Do

  • Write & Edit Content: Pitch and write original articles and listicles on fashion, lifestyle, mental health, and culture topics that fit BLNCO’s voice. Edit content using AP style for clarity and consistency.

  • SEO & Research: Perform keyword research and apply SEO best practices (headlines, subheaders, image alt-text) to expand our reach. Stay on top of trends via Pinterest and other sources to generate fresh ideas.

  • Social & Visual Media: Create on-brand graphics in Canva for social posts, blogs, and newsletters. Shoot and edit short-form videos (CapCut or similar) like reels, TikToks, or Instagram Stories that engage our community.

  • Community Engagement: Help manage BLNCO’s Pinterest boards (curating pins and creating mood boards), assist with posting and scheduling on social channels, respond to audience comments, and contribute to online discussions.

  • Collaborate with the Team: Join virtual editorial meetings, brainstorm content concepts, and work closely with editors, videographers, and designers on projects.

Who You Are

  • Passionate Storyteller: You love fashion, lifestyle, and culture as much as you love a good story. You’re curious about mental health, life advice, and the world around you — eager to explore these topics through a creative lens.

  • Strong Writer & Editor: You write clearly and confidently in AP style. Grammar and spelling are your friends, and you can adapt your voice to fit BLNCO’s bold, conversational tone.

  • Digital Savvy: You know Pinterest inside and out and understand SEO basics. Experienced with Canva (or similar) for graphics and comfortable editing quick videos with CapCut or similar apps.

  • Creative & Proactive: You bring fresh ideas and aren’t afraid to experiment. A self-starter who works well independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.

  • Community-Minded: You appreciate inclusive, culturally-driven content and want to help grow our community. You engage with audiences and learn from their feedback.

  • Open to All Backgrounds: Whether you’re a student, recent grad, or career changer, we welcome you! No specific school or credits required — just passion, strong work ethic, and a creative obsession.

What You’ll Gain

  • Real Publishing Experience: By internship’s end, you’ll have bylines on articles, social content, and videos — real editorial and multimedia work for a growing brand.

  • Skill Development: Sharpen your writing, editing, SEO, design (Canva), and video editing (CapCut) skills with guidance from experienced editors.

  • Mentorship & Feedback: One-on-one support to strengthen your voice, storytelling, and digital media savvy.

  • Portfolio & Network: Build a diverse portfolio and connect with a supportive creative community.

  • Creative Freedom: Pitch ideas and own projects, from Pinterest boards to IG reels and personal essays — your contributions matter.

Flexibility & Passion-Driven Culture:

This part-time internship requires 5 to 10 hours per week, with a flexible schedule that fits your lifestyle. The position begins as a three-month contract, with potential to become permanent.
